  2. Advanced Training and Assessment Resources:
    a. Developed state-of-the-art learning materials and assessment tools, ensuring practical and theoretical knowledge aligns with industry standards.
  3. Public Awareness Campaign:
    a. Launched a media campaign to raise public awareness and stimulate interest in energy efficiency services, highlighting the role of skilled electricians in achieving sustainability goals.

Project Aims:

  • Strengthen the energy efficiency workforce development within the electrotechnology sector.
  • Equip professionals to meet rising consumer and commercial demands for energy efficiency management driven by decarbonisation efforts.

Outcomes:

  • Accredited Course: Developed in compliance with regulatory standards, offering electricians a specialised pathway to extend their services into energy efficiency assessment and management.
  • Increased Public Awareness: The media campaign generated consumer interest, positioning the sector as a key player in achieving energy-efficient solutions.

Impact on the Electrical Industry:

This project enhances the industry’s capacity to support national and global decarbonisation targets by equipping the workforce with specialised energy efficiency skills. It ensures that the electrotechnology sector remains responsive and capable, fostering a sustainable future through innovative workforce development and proactive energy management solutions.
