Course Description
This WorkSafe approved HSR Refresher OHS Training Course is an opportunity to revisit aspects of the HSR Initial OHS Training Course and refresh your knowledge of the learning outcomes you covered. We understand that you’re busy and it’s easy to forget learnings from courses attended. This is why it is so important to keep in touch with the latest safety skills each year. What the day covers:
- A general update on legislation
- Risk management on a specific or various hazards
- An update on HSR entitlements and powers
- HSR skills development

The ETU is approved by WorkSafe to deliver HSR training in Victoria.
The Centre for U is a registered trading name of the ETU.
Further Resources
Assessment
The Centre for U follow the WorkSafe Underpinning Principles with adult learning principles at its core. There is no formal assessment.
Course Outcomes
After completing this course, you will receive a Certificate of Attendance.
Note: You must attend the full day of training to receive a Certificate of Attendance.

Non Member: $291.00
Eligibility for Free Training
This course is free for ETU Members that are HSRs.
Pre-requisite: You must be an elected HSR. Under the OHS Act (section 67) all elected HSRs and deputy HSRs after completing an initial course of training, have an entitlement (for each year they hold office) to attend Refresher training and choose the course in consultation with their employer.
HSRs and Deputy HSRs are entitled to undertake WorkSafe Victoria approved OHS training and choose their training course in conjunction with their employer. This is outlined in section 67 of the OH&S Act 2004.
Note: We accept registrations up to 20 working days prior to the course start date.
