Course in Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure (EVCI) up to 22kW comes a step closer.

Last week the Centre for U held our ‘Train the Trainer’ day for the educators delivering the upcoming EVCI course. ‘Train the Trainer’ took place in our purpose designed and equipped EVCI work simulated training area.

The event was attended by both the Centre for U and Holmesglen educators and companies that lead this growing industry. Industry trends, current practices, and latest Australian standards for EVCI were just some of the topics covered. Industry professionals who delivered the event included:

• Delta (NHP)
• Viaris
• Fluke
• Metrel (Emona)

This project milestone brings us one step closer towards delivering the accredited course to the ETU members and wider industry. Many have expressed interest to participate when the course commences, we are anticipating this for June – July 2023.

Funded by the Victorian State Government, the EVCI course will upskill 500 licenced electricians in 2023. We currently have over 400 members registered so get in for your spot quickly.
