Drug and Alcohol Awareness Training
Drug and alcohol misuse reaches every corner of the Australian community and can cause huge costs to your health, wellbeing and safety. Knowing how to recognise when you or someone you know has a problem and understanding the negative health impacts misuse has is critical for all people.

Course Description
Our course is delivered by trainers with lived experience of addiction, and are about raising awareness and shifting attitudes about these substances. It also provides you with tools to address the issue with friends, family members and colleagues who may be experiencing addiction or dependence.
To access Support & Health Services for free, you must be:
- A financial ETU member (includes suspended up to six (6) months)
- An ETU member for more than three (3) months
- A family member (of an eligible ETU member) who fits the definition
- A member of a Victorian union
