Design and Install Grid Connected PV Systems
This course provides nationally accredited training for electricians in the design and installation of grid-connected PV systems.

Duration: 5 day workshop plus online study
Location: Futuretech – North Melbourne
Online study – The online component covers all the theoretical knowledge and assessment required for design and installation of grid-connected PV systems. You will be provided with a course book, access to our online learning resources, and ongoing support with the course instructor. You must successfully complete compulsory online coursework prior to attending a related practical workshop session.
Practical workshop – The workshops will include a review of online content to ensure you obtain a thorough understanding of all design and theoretical knowledge, and cover all the practical requirements and assessment for the course, including installation of Grid-Connected PV systems. Attendance at the practical workshops is compulsory.
By undertaking this course, you will complete the following nationally recognised units:
- UEENEEK125A Solve Basic Problems In Photovoltaic Energy Apparatus And Systems
- UEENEEK135A Design Grid Connected Photovoltaic Power Supply Systems
- UEENEEK148A Install, configure and commission LV grid connected photovoltaic power systems

Delivery is a mix of face to face and online pre-reading and coursework. The assessment includes both knowledge and practical assessment.
After successfully completing this course, you will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment.
