The course will support restricted licence holders to keep up to date with safety, regulatory, technical and other changes relevant to the trade.

The course covers responsibilities of the licensed person and includes regulatory requirements, CoES obligations and apprentice supervision. Major changes in SWMS and OH&S are addressed, as well as “Don’t work live” regulations. Safe isolation is covered in detail with a practical task to be performed involving correct equipment usage. A practical task on safe practices for fault finding is also to be performed by Class 1 licence holders only.
