WAVE apprentices lead the way!

Joining the Centre for U team at the recent EV project launch were our star WAVE apprentices!

ETU State Secretary, Troy Gray recently introduced our WAVE participants Evangeline, Annalise, Courtney (CJ) and Vanessa to the Minister for Training and Skills, Gayle Tierney, and Sheena Watt MP.

Minister Tierney and Sheena were thrilled to hear about their WAVE program experience, that provided for a successful transition from previous roles in sectors such as health and hospitality to the electrical industry, and were keen to be kept in the loop on how their apprenticeships were progressing.

Evangeline, Annalise, Courtney (CJ) and Vanessa are all really enjoying their apprenticeships and learning lots on some of Victoria’s Big Build projects such as the Metro Tunnel and Footscray Hospital.  They and the other 20 participants are all awesome WAVE ambassadors!
